Medical Supplies
NOW OPEN. We maintain a rotating supply of medical equipment for Dennis seniors to borrow. While we do appreciate donations of durable medical equipment, all equipment MUST be clean and in good condition. Broken or unclean equipment will not be accepted. Currently we are no longer accepting commodes, but we are accepting donations of adjustable canes, shower chairs, transfer benches and wheelchairs. Please promptly return medical equipment when you no longer need it, so someone else in need may benefit from this excellent program.
Thrift Shop
NOW OPEN. The Rolling Raks Boutique open for donations on Mondays between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Clean, seasonal clothing only!
Food Pantry
EVERY DONATION OF FOOD HELPS. Donations can be dropped off at DCAL M-F 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
We accept donations of non-perishable food in jars, cans and sealed packets. We also have a new fridge & freezer for non-expired, perishable items. We recommend sauces, soups, honey, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, cereals, oatmeal, cream of wheat, long-life milk, eggs, cheese, frozen fruit & vegetables. Health & Beauty: neutral soap, deoderant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, laundry & dish detergent.
Financial Donations
Donations are gratefully accepted for all DCAL programs and services, including outreach, training, entertainment, special programs and events. Please make checks payable to the Supporters of Dennis Council on Aging.
