Welcome to DCAL

The Dennis Center for Active Living

Town of Dennis Council on Aging

DCAL provides life enrichment programs focused on socialization, nutrition, physical activity, and engagement for Dennis residents 60 and over, as well as assistance for their families and caregivers.

Outreach

DCAL’s outreach department connects older adults with various local and state human service resources to ensure Dennis community members receive the support they need. Outreach enhances the well-being of older adults by offering social engagement, mental health support and fosters meaningful connections through volunteer companionship programs.

Caregiver Support

DCAL’s Day program GAP (Golden Age Program) is designed to offer much-needed respite and emotional relief to caregivers, giving them time for themselves while their loved ones are cared for in a safe and engaging environment. Our initiatives also address the emotional challenges faced by caregivers, helping to reduce stress and combat isolation.
